Pricing
The prices of our private, custom designed trips vary depending on your choice of accommodations and the duration of your trip. The proposed custom itinerary we send you will include a firm price. Please note, these prices are indicative, subject to change based on your actual itinerary.The prices of our Walk and Drive and Inn to Inn Without a Car itineraries on the website are indicative. For each itinerary, we have two prices reflecting classic and superior accommodations. Please contact us for pricing with deluxe accommodations.
Our prices include:
- Our comprehensive package of all IGN walking maps, Trail Guides, Practical Area Guides, Essential Provence (our proprietary general guide) and related supporting materials
- Local transfers on Inn to Inn Without a Car trips
- Accommodations as indicated on your itinerary
- All breakfasts
- Some dinners (depending on your preference)
- All optional activities paid for in advance
Prices exclude:
- International and domestic airfare, train fare, car rental
- Any optional activities not booked and paid for prior to departure
- Meals not specifically indicated on your itinerary as included
- Gratuities, drinks, baggage charges, airport taxes, and any items of a personal nature
Please note that our trips are priced in US dollars but our costs are in Euros. Therefore if the value of the Euro strengthens significantly against the dollar after you make your booking, in rare instances we may have to apply a slight price increase to cover this currency fluctuation. If there is such an adjustment, you will be notified at least two months in advance.

Booking your trip
When you are happy with the custom itinerary we’ve worked out for you, go to the book with us page, follow the instructions to fill out our booking form, and click “Submit”.Simultaneously please send us a $300 non-refundable deposit per person. Upon receipt of your deposit we will confirm your booking by return e-mail.

Paying for your trip and submitting required forms
We accept payment by major credit cards via PayPal, personal check drawn on a US bank, or electronic fund transfers (ACH payments),
- $300 non-refundable deposit per person is due upon booking
- Full payment for your trip is due 60 days before departure. Simultaneously we need to receive from each trip participant the Walker Participation Form which includes a Release From Liability Agreement which must be signed by the participant

Receiving your trip package
Thirty days prior to departure, you will receive a hard copy of your final itinerary, the relevant Practical Area Guides, Essential Provence (our general guide), and the Michelin Green Guide Provence. We will meet you on arrival and give you the rest of your Trip Kit (including all maps and Trail Guides) in person. If you would like to receive the entire Trip Kit before your departure to Provence, please let us know. -
Trip cancellation and refunds
If you need to cancel your trip the following refund policy will apply. Regrettably we must strictly adhere to this policy without exception:
- If you cancel 60 days or more prior to departure - we will refund all but your $300 non-refundable deposit per person
- If you cancel 59-31 days prior to departure - we will refund 50% of the total trip cost
- If you cancel 30 days or less prior to departure - we are unable to provide a refund
In addition, please note that we are unable to give partial refunds for hotel rooms, meals, or any activities, excursions or other optional arrangements prepaid in advance and unused while on your trip for any reason whatsoever.

Trip insurance
We highly recommend trip insurance both for trip cancellation and interruption, and medical coverage and repatriation. With the flood of restrictive travel industry rules and health coverage rules of our times, in our view trip insurance is indispensable for peace of mind. -
